    Download the signed .exe installer from this page.

    Verify the SHA-256 checksum in PowerShell before running anything.

    Run the installer and allow it through SmartScreen (publisher: EOS Rio).

Yes. SimplEOS is released under an open-source license and the full source code is available on GitHub, so anyone can audit, build and distribute it.

Every release ships with a SHA-256 checksum. Compare the hash of your downloaded file with the value published on the release page before installing. If they differ, delete the file and download again from this page only.

No. Keys are generated and encrypted locally on your machine and never leave your device. There is no account, no server-side wallet and no key escrow.

Yes. Ledger devices are supported for signing, so your private key never touches the computer while you keep the full SimplEOS interface.

EOS mainnet plus any EOSIO-compatible chain and testnet — you can add custom endpoints and switch networks from the settings panel.

No telemetry, no tracking and no account creation. Network requests go only to the blockchain endpoints you configure.

The password only decrypts your local key store and cannot be recovered. Your private key or owner/active key backup is the only way to restore access, so keep it offline in a safe place.
